ABOUT ME

I discovered running at age 27, in May of 2011.  I ran my first 5k in December 2011 and now I'm hooked!  I hope to make running a permanent part of a healthy lifestyle.  My goals right now are to run at least 10 miles per week for 2012 to really try to stay consistent with getting out the door.  I know this mileage may seem low to some, but I'm still a relative newbie!  I did join a running group and the accountability of training partners has really helped to keep me on track.  I just find that the more I am able to do, the more I want to achieve!  I hope to run a half marathon in the next six months to a year.  I would really, really love to run the Disney Princess Half in 2013.

Keep it fun, keep it fierce, and when in doubt - wear something pink and sparkly!
